About Me

Growing up in the East End of London, I now live with my cat Saffy in Bedfordshire where I try to write most days either from my box room office or when I’m feeling brave, my old cobwebby spider-infested summerhouse at the end of the garden! And if I want inspiration take a walk on the beautiful Dunstable Downs.  

Over the years I have been lucky enough to meet and interview some of the biggest names in showbiz for women’s magazines and to celebrate many happy occasions such as engagements, weddings and babies with exclusive interviews for Hello magazine. I’ve been on numerous TV sets to watch filming and interview the cast including Strictly,  Downton Abbey, Cold Feet, Call the Midwife, Coronation Street and Casualty.

If I were to list the names of all those I’ve interviewed, it would go into the many hundreds. To name a few, Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross, Joan Collins, Bob Hoskins, Richard and Judy, Philip Schofield, Michael Parkinson, Caroline Ahearne, Cilla Black and Miranda Hart. 

Readers often ask me who my favourite is. Definitely Joanna Lumley who I’ve interviewed many times.  Apart from being very funny, she has the ability to make you feel you are the most important person in the room by giving you her undivided attention.
